“ Favorite place to get some good pupusas! The service is always consistent. The ladies who work here are pleasant and nice. I would suggest the pupusas with pork and cheese and bean and cheese. Be sure to call ahead as sometimes it can be a 15-30 minute wait because they're prepared fresh. I also recommend trying it with the green sauce that they make themselves. Every time I visit I wish I try something else because the food looks and smells good but I'm usually running in quickly to grab pupusas. Hopefully I can venture out into other menu options ”
“ Ohhhhhhhhhh, how I just LOVE "hole in the wall places like this!! Give me the choice of a "fancy pants," ultra deluxe gourmet dinner or a "questionable" hidden gem that transports you halfway around the world before you even sit down at your table, I'll go for choice B every time!! I never would have known about this place, but my sister works right around the corner and passes it every day, so with some time off for "good behavior" (winter break!!) we decided to give it a try. Where I live in Ohioooooo, there's "Mexican" food just about everywhere, but it's rare (not impossible...) to find Central American food here, so this was a nice change of pace. We walked in late on a Friday afternoon (about 2pm) and immediately felt "a gusto/en casa" in the cozy dining room, with about 4-5 booths and tables two large parties occupying the center tables. Crowded, but not cramped. Their menu is full of tempting options, we decided to go for the sampler appetizer plate (plantains, beans, avocado, chicken, beef, chicharon, yuca, a fried egg......) and three different pupusas. We had enough food for an army!! It PAYS to have at least SOME Spanish (my ONE "superpower") but the menu is easy enough to decipher, and the waitresses are super helpful. Awesome service, TONS of delicious choices, reasonable prices, and a "free" afternoon "getaway" to a wonderfully hospitable, though too often misunderstood, region of the Americas, what more could you ask for?? A return visit, THAT's what I'm needing!! Buen provecho!! ”

The food is cooked with quality ingredients and you'll notice this way long after you had your meal. You'll feel a full tummy and energized... and heartburn or any after taste... none. “ I've seen this place for years when I've gone to the gas station across the street. Always been curious, but never went inside . . . Finally did a few months ago, and was glad of it! Though it doesn't look like much on the outside, the decor is nice inside, and the place was very clean as well. Tale of the tape: Papusas: got two different kinds, and both were excellent! Chicken Tamales: large portioned and very good, whether you use the hot sauce or not! Conclusion: I will be returning to sample more of their papusas and perhaps other items on their rather extensive menu. ”
